Jackie Fouse

Following a 40+ year corporate career, primarily in the healthcare industry, including overseeing pharmaceutical research and clinical development, Jackie turned her attention to the environmental sciences. She entered the academic world of environmental science in 2017 and earned her Master’s in Environmental Management in 2019 from the Yale School of the Environment. She started the Master’s in Wildlife Forensics and Conservation program with the University of Florida in 2023 and expects to graduate in May 2025.

Jackie’s corporate experience includes serving on the Agios Pharmaceuticals board of directors as Chair since August 2022 and as a director since December 2017. She served as Chief Executive Officer of Agios from February 2019 to August 2022. Jackie was a founder of the startup Dermavant Sciences in the dermatology arena and served as Executive Chair of that company from September 2017 to February 2019. She previously served as President and Chief Operating officer of Celgene Corporation, a global biotechnology company, until April 2017, and as a member of Celgene’s board of directors through June 2017. Jackie joined Celgene in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer and was named President of the company’s global hematology & oncology franchise in 2014. Before joining Celgene, Jacie served as Chief Financial Officer of Bunge Limited, a leading global agribusiness and food company. Prior to Bunge, she served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Head of Corporate Strategy at Alcon Laboratories, a leading ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical device company. Prior to her tenure with Alcon, she held a variety of senior leadership roles with international companies, including Chief Financial Officer of the Swissair Group and Global Group Treasurer for Nestle, spending almost a decade of her career in Switzerland. Jackie also currently serves on the board of directors of Incyte Corporation. She previously served on the boards of Dick’s Sporting Goods and Perrigo. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in economics and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.
