Mission
The Spartan Bicycle Shop is a non-profit organization located in the Sears ThinkBox (5th floor). We perform basic bicycle repairs, maintenance and provide accessories for purchase. The executive body and its employees run on a voluntary basis - functioning on-demand weekday services to accomodate student scheduling. Operational Profits accrued are to be reinvested in the East Cleveland & Campus Communities via bicycle, monetary donations as well as for cycling infrastructure advocacy.

Membership Benefits
To those interested in the mechanical positions - cleaners, abrasives, lubricants, and all tools kept in-house are free for use as recognition of your commitment to serving the student body and East Cleveland. The environment of the shop is meant to promote safety and reduce risk, but we want a calm but engaged environment when working with customers and eachother. Availability is indicated at the beginning of each month both for the employee. Work hours are intended to accommodate the staff, not vice versa.

The dynamic nature of this bike shop means that it is not a traditional USG org... you are being entrusted with a fully-functioning shop and business of which we facilitate an integral repair service and community aid that is much needed on campus. Being a member of the executive body is an experience that carries real applicable value: Marketing, Business Management, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Leadership. The role demands attention and everyone involved in this project should be passionate about its success.

Welcome to the Spartan Bicycle Shop! If you are here to shop, please access the CampusGroups store from our website. All purchases should be made with an appointment - either asynchronous drop-offs through Calendly or sign up for a weekend walk-in on CampusGroups Events. If you are interested in a mechanical role, please fill out the Mechanical Interest Form found under "Surveys" and a member of our team will reach out to become familiar and get an idea of availabilities.
