University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University are thrilled to celebrate the launch of the UH/CWRU Center for Clinical Ethics, a groundbreaking collaborative effort that seeks to elevate the field of clinical ethics and strengthen the longstanding partnership between University Hospitals (UH) and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU).

At the Center’s launch, Barb Daly, PhD, RN, FAAN, Professor of Nursing Emeritus, and Stuart Youngner, MD, Professor of Bioethics Emeritus and former Chair, founders of UH's Clinical Ethics Program will discuss important moments in the history of clinical ethics collaboration between UH and CWRU.

This event will highlight the establishment of the UH/CWRU Center for Clinical Ethics and underscores the close relationship between UH's Clinical Ethics program and the CWRU Department of Bioethics. Moreover, it signals the expanded collaboration that encompass joint consultation service, education, and research efforts – which are already underway.
