About Us
CaseCares aims to address healthcare and educational disparities that exist in Cleveland. We are currently partnered with the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center (CCJDC) and have implemented a mentoring program that provides students with opportunities to explore their career interests. Our sessions are intended to supplement the youths' school curriculum with career-focused activities to inspire them to take initiative in their own education. We work with the youths in small groups to encourage our students to build long-lasting and meaningful relationships.
Beyond the Juvenile Detention Center, our organization actively collaborates with global communities, offering support in the face of natural disasters and global pandemics to alleviate stress and bring comfort to their residents. Over the past three years, our outreach has been nothing short of extraordinary. We raised funds to support the Black Lives Matter movement and aided the citizens of Beirut in their recovery from the 2020 port explosion. At the start of 2020, as the world grappled with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our members rallied together to sew over a hundred homemade masks that were donated to an old-age home in Washington D.C. This past year, we raised over a thousand dollars to purchase vital medical supplies for the frontline essential healthcare workers in Ukraine. These efforts merely scratch the surface of our commitment to extending our reach far beyond Cleveland, as our members consistently strive to make a meaningful impact on diverse communities worldwide.
