Semester Serves: AdvantageCLE Tennis & Education (Mondays 2:45 - 5:15 pm)

Semester Serves volunteers will work with groups of elementary-age youth (1st-4th grade) at Mary B. Martin School in Cleveland. The volunteers of the after-school program will provide one-on-one tutoring, as well as participate in hands-on activities that engage students in recreational and educational programming. They will help with implementing daily and weekly lessons, which will include sessions on tennis, literacy, creative writing, wellness, and STEM. While helpful, volunteers do not need to have prior experience in the lesson activates.

The program takes place every Monday from 2:45 to 5:15 p.m., which includes transportation time. This site requires a commitment of one semester. Transportation is provided in the CCEL van by the Semester Serves student leader. 

The specific dates of the program will be as follows: 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/24, 3/2, 3/16, 3/30, 4/6, & 4/20.
