The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL) at Case Western Reserve University would like to invite a representative from your department to learn about becoming a part of CWRU Votes on Wednesday, August 12 at 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The mission of this group is to share information and promote political engagement within the CWRU community through nonpartisan efforts to aid in increasing the knowledge and developing skills of students to engage in voting and democratic activities.

In this important election year, we’re organizing this group to bring together campus stakeholders that are doing this work or are interested in this work to share ideas, find opportunities for collaboration, publicize events of others, etc. Members will be able to:
  • Access resources with accurate and up to date information around voter registration, voter education, ballot access, and the voting process
  • Build student awareness of political engagement resources available to them
  • Gain knowledge of how to integrate voter resources into your existing systems (programming, classes and/or other materials)

In this meeting, we will share CCEL’s political engagement resources and plan with you, including a timeline of fall semester voter registration and election events, and welcome your input – and your political engagement events!

Please let us know if you have any questions by emailing commservice@case.edu and feel free to pass along this information to others that may be interested.
