8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
The Father Michael Wittman Ozanam Center at St. Philomena Church in East Cleveland provides access to food and clothing to those in need. The Center is open every Saturday and relies solely on the help of volunteers. Volunteers are needed to register and check in & out clients, offer hospitality, sort and hang clothing, pack grocery bags, and more. Volunteers should dress for the weather as they may be working in an unheated garage, bring a filled water bottle, wear comfortable, work-appropriate clothes and closed-toed shoes.

Kids Against Hunger is a student organization at CWRU whose mission is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and throughout the world. KAH works with local partners in Cleveland to pack and distribute highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole. Help with KAH's next big food packing event during Saturday of Service! Set-up volunteers will help unload the meals from the truck, set-up tables, and help get the room ready for the packaging event. Some heavy lifting may be required. Volunteers on the assembly line will help with a variety of tasks associated with packaging the meals. Registered volunteers should meet in the Wade Commons Pioneer Room at 10 a.m.

Kids Against Hunger is a student organization at CWRU whose mission is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and throughout the world. KAH works with local partners in Cleveland to pack and distribute highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole. Help with KAH's next big food packing event during Saturday of Service! Volunteers on the assembly line will help with a variety of tasks associated with packaging the meals. Tasks might include mixing ingredients, weighing the packages, and sealing the packages. Registered volunteers should meet in the Wade Commons Pioneer Room at 12:00 p.m.
12:45 PM – 4:00 PM
Help the team string lights on cut trees in preparations for decorating for the Garden Holiday exhibit. Volunteers must be able to stand for long periods of time, reach and bend, get on a step ladder. Please wear comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dirty and can get sap on them. Students under 18 will need a parent/guardian signature on the waiver to participate.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

8:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Assist in the Hershey Children's Garden with fall cleanup, removing decorations and bulb planting. Hundreds of bulbs will be planted this fall for some fun surprises next spring for visitors to the children's garden. This project will take place outdoors, volunteers should dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothes they do not mind getting dirty or wet. Closed-toed shoes are strictly required. Students under 18 will need a parent/guardian signature on the waiver to participate.
9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Family Promise of Greater Cleveland helps over 100 homeless families each year secure independent housing and the means to sustain it. Volunteers will help with sorting and organizing donations. Volunteers should wear comfortable, work-appropriate clothes that they don't mind getting dirty including long pants and closed-toed shoes recommended.
9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
The school is working to beautify their outdoor spaces, and volunteers will assist with weeding, mulching, and generally cleaning up the beds around the school. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothes they do not mind getting dirty or wet. Closed-toed shoes and long pants are recommended.
9:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Summer on the Cuyahoga is a conduit between universities, businesses, and nonprofits to host paid summer internships for college students while showcasing Cleveland's attractions. Volunteers are needed to assist with annual donor mailing prep by stuffing, labeling, and stamping envelopes. The project will take place on campus.
