About Us
The purpose of the CWRU ACS Chemistry Club is to create a welcoming environment for anyone interested in or seeking a career in chemistry or chemical biology. The ACS Chemistry Club will also allow students to create relationships with other members of the Case Western Reserve University community who have similar interests, especially related to chemistry. In addition, we seek to help and encourage people to find research within chemistry and to show different career paths chemistry students can take with a chemistry or chemical biology major through networking opportunities, guest speakers who are faculty members or professionals within chemistry, and mentoring programs with upperclassmen. Through the American Chemical Society (ACS), students will be able to use resources that will allow them to network, have more experience with research and leadership, and access to grants and scholarships.
