Saturday of Service: Hunger Network MidTown Market

Site Description: MidTown Market is a grocery-style choice food pantry serving those in need of healthy, nutritious, culturally appropriate foods and personal care items.

Service Description: Volunteers will help check visitors in and out on a digital app, distribute pre-packaged non-perishable items, pack perishable items for distribution, and help visitors select meat and frozen options. Please note: closed-toe/closed-heel shoes (no sandals, clogs, or flip flops) are required. The project may also include lifting boxes up to 35 pounds and standing on your feet for the duration of the service.

When/Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the CCEL office (TVUC #165) at 8:00 am. and return to campus by 12:15 pm. Volunteers will travel together to the site by bus as led by a CCEL Student Leader.

Wait List/Cancelations: If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by CCEL at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
If you sign up for this activity, please do everything you can to honor your commitment. If you are no longer able to attend, please inform CCEL 48 hours or more before the start time by emailing serves@case.edu. Not doing so may impact your ability to participate in future CCEL Serves programs.
