The African American Society (AfroAm) is an organization to support the African American Community at Case Western Reserve. We originally started as the "Afro-American Society" in 1968. We were founded by a cohort of student leaders, including the late Stephanie Tubbs Jones, who would later become an influential Congresswoman for Ohio.

As an organization, we grow and develop many of the strongest leaders on campus with our network of support. We are proud to think and live and grow as we are. We strive to be aware and engaged in the work that is needed to sustain a fair and just campus, Cleveland, national, and global community.

The Case Bangla Association at CWRU seeks to celebrate and preserve the vibrant heritage of the Bengali people. The primary purpose of Chabad Student Group is to offer the unique approach it has to Jewish living, knowledge, and practice to the student community at Case Western Reserve University. Chabad provides vibrant Judaism, imbued with the depth and vitality of Chassidic thought, philosophy, and Jewish Mysticism, and within the framework of traditional Judaism. Our objectives include but are not limited to; educational, ritual, and social activities, in addition to counseling and spiritual guidance to individual students. Our organization is based on Chassidic philosophy, as taught locally at Chabad's Jewish Student Center directed by Rabbi Mendy and Sara Alevsky. Our philosophy does not concern itself with the background, upbringing or 'denomination' that most Jewish organizations utilize; rather we believe that that every single Jew deserves an equal opportunity to experience and enjoy their heritage. All programs and events of Chabad Student Group are within the framework of Halachah, Jewish law, as transmitted by the Rabbis throughout the generations dating back to Moses receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai. These goals shall be achieved through weekly Torah (Bible) classes, monthly women's programs, lectures on various Jewish issues, and speakers for religious and cultural events. We will also provide Shabbat and Holiday services, Glatt (the highest Kosher standards) Kosher dinners, Jewish holiday programs, and Shabbatons (unique weekends).

This student group is a student chapter (hereafter Chapter) recognized by Orthodox Christian Fellowship, a California nonprofit corporation with its principal offices in Brookline, Massachusetts and which is an agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the United States.
The purpose of the Chapter, as articulated in the Charter, is to offer college students rich community in Christ, inspiring life-long love of God and neighbor. This is accomplished through cultivating a campus community of worship, witness, service, fellowship, and education.

Mission
The organization known as Project Ukraine is dedicated to share Ukrainian culture with the CWRU faculty and student body by holding events that are focused on Ukrainian customs, food and/or culture. Along with sharing culture, we have humanitarian aid based projects to raise support for Ukrainian refugees and those who are directly involved with supporting these refugees as a result of the conflict with Russia in the current day.

The goal of this association is to provide the opportunity to acquire and share intellectual, cultural, and social experiences regarding Puerto Rico that enhance our lives and make us better individuals. These experiences broaden our horizons for a more complete world vision, with a better understanding of socio-cultural topics, and prepare us to face a professional life full of challenges. The great diversity in fields of study, age, ideas and ideologies, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds that the Puerto Rican students, as Latinos, may bring as future members of the Puerto Rican Student Association (PRSA), makes the association one that will be able to confront the challenges of a multicultural society and should respect and understand the individual opinions and idiosyncrasies. We, the founder officers of the PRSA, understand that the association is a key instrument in the adaptation process and integral development of Puerto Rican students, who face academic and professional challenges in the United States of America (USA) and the rest of the world. This is the fundamental reason to develop the PRSA and to start our duties at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, during the fall semester of 2024.

Mission
The Tea & Chocolate Club is a space for graduate and professional students to come together through cultural exchange around tea—the second most consumed beverage in the world after water (Manellis, 2014; Tea Fact Sheet—2019-2020, 2020)—and chocolate. Spaces for graduate students to interact across campus have been limited since COVID-19 started. The T&C Club's purpose is to create such a space for all graduate students while being present through sensory experiences. In addition, the T&C Club will also facilitate participants' learning about tea and chocolate through cultural and educational experiences.

Tsunagari Japan is CWRU's Japanese culture and conversation club. We hold weekly meetings with various cultural activities and provide a space for students to practice their Japanese conversation skills and to learn/experience Japanese culture. We also hold conversation tables throughout the semester for dedicated conversation practice.

Throughout the academic year, students will receive weekly emails about events. Our events are open to all students on campus. Extra credit is offered to students taking JAPN language courses who fill out a reflection after attending our meetings.

The Undergraduate Indian Students Association (uISA) of Case Western Reserve University is a student-led organization under the Undergraduate Diversity Collaborative (UDC). uISA is one of the largest student organizations on campus as it works independently and in conjunction with other student organizations. Founded by Indian undergraduates, the organization strives to bring awareness of Indian culture and tradition to both Case Western and to the greater Cleveland area. uISA hosts many events throughout the year including celebrations of Navaratri Garba, Diwali, and Holi. An annual benefit dinner, formal dance, and cultural show are also major events put on, with the cultural show bringing in more than 500 attendees from the campus and Cleveland communities each year.
