As law students, we recognize that words hold the power not only to advocate but also to heal. Through our regular letter-writing gatherings, we aim to provide support to those undergoing difficult times, such as individuals battling illness, coping with loss, or experiencing personal struggles.
By fostering a community of empathy and service within our law school, we seek to remind recipients that they are not alone and that kindness, even in the smallest form, can make a profound impact. Through partnerships with organizations like the Dear Jack Foundation and other outreach programs, we strive to extend our reach and ensure our words find those who need them most.

Mission
Our group's mission is to give students the resources, instruction, and encouraging environment to create their own projects of items they are unable to buy. Our club wishes for our members to have the guidance and peer-support to create their own creative projects that they are passionate about without having to purchase them online, travel far-away to buy them in-person, use copious amounts of plastic filament to 3d print the few models they can find online, and be unable to customize these trinkets in anyway. Needle-felting addresses all of these issues and students may grow their own confidence to make things themselves.

Membership Benefits
Our group offers it members access to our communication channel (discord or groupme), selection of wool, needles, wool felting mats, finger protection, snacks and drinks, coaching, tips and tricks, comic guide on the do's and don't's of felting. We give our members the resources and advice to safely work towards making their creative crafts.
We also have an instagram account where members can (if they so please) show off both timelapses, multiple photos of their works, etc...

Mission
We believe our club would stand out from other clubs on campus by prioritizing and placing emphasis on educating members on how to utilize camera equipment and editing software. Our club would rather develop these skills so they can utilize them in other organizations & jobs as well as help cultivate a passion and interest in photography. In addition, the Photography Club functions as a healthy break from an academic environment and help members cultivate a passion and interest in the field of photography and editing. Through the development of the aforementioned skills, members will then be able to exercise their acquired knowledge elsewhere and potentially progress their hobbies into a professional setting.

Membership Benefits
CWRU Photography Club strives to attract those who are passionately involved in various forms of photography, be it professionally or as a hobby and provide a comprehensive introduction to beginners who seek further knowledge and participation in photography.
CWRU Photography Club educates members on photographic techniques, including but not limited to the operation of digital and analog camera equipment, photo editing software, and analysis of photographic works, by hosting lectures, discussions, and critique sessions. The organization assists members’ photography endeavors by hosting photography events in various locations in the greater Cleveland area and promotes members to various opportunities where photography talent is needed. The organization will strive to enrich the student community of CWRU by prioritizing making connections with student organizations and/or organizations, departments affiliated with/under the university.

One of the University Media Board's newer organizations, Studio 300 (often stylized "STUDIO300") is a film production club run entirely by CWRU students. We focus on three types of video content: short films, campus life videos, and collaborations with CWRU organizations and/or local groups. Because we aim to provide a hands-on learning experience, students of all skill levels are welcome to get involved.

Mission
The Athenian first began in the year 2000, started by a couple undergraduates who thought they were funnier than everybody else. Since the early days, The Athenian has grown into a publication featuring satire, comics, anecdotal humor, silly humor, dark humor, irony, self-depreciation, and spelling errors. The Athenian is so named because the Case Western Reserve University mascot is the "Spartans", and thus, being the smart asses we are, we chose the name of one of Sparta's rival cities from back in the day. We're The Athenian, we're CWRU's official student humor magazine, and we're proud keep making people laugh (or at least smirk a little) since 2000.

You can join us in our mission to spread humor across campus.

Our schedules offer a variety of films through each semester to cater to a broad array of students and community members.

Membership Benefits
CWRU Film Society members get to, of course, come to any of our screenings for free. Don't like the movie we're showing? That's cool too, there's always other members playing board games, hanging out, or occasionally finishing up their Java projects in the lobby. Additionally you'll get free popcorn and soda, and discounted candy. On Friday nights, there's free pizza and on Saturdays you can come out to eat with us and enjoy something that isn't Leutner for dinner. In exchange, we just ask you to show up a little early and help us hang up a couple posters.
