CaseMed for Health Literacy is a student group committed to benefiting the local Cleveland community by addressing various health concerns related to education. We are also dedicated to engaging medical students in areas of community service related to health education and to helping students communicate health topics more effectively.
Case Med for Health Literacy works to address health literacy within the local Cleveland community by educating community members about common health topics and by educating medical students about interacting with patients of varying levels of health literacy. In addition to providing opportunities to volunteer within the community, we also host presentations (food provided!) by physicians to share their insights on educating patients with low health literacy.
