Meet the Firm: Edge Powered by Magnet

The Weatherhead Consulting Club invites you to a special Meet the Firm event highlighting the EDGE Market Research Fellow Program powered by MAGNET. This unique fellowship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on client and project experience by working directly with local manufacturing companies on market research initiatives. With internship cohorts running in the fall, spring, and summer, it’s an excellent pathway to sharpen consulting skills while making a real impact in Northeast Ohio’s manufacturing ecosystem.

What to Expect
The event will follow our standard Meet the Firm format:

First Half: Work through a market sizing case study adapted from a past EDGE student project, giving you practical exposure to the type of consulting challenges fellows tackle.

Second Half: Hear directly from Chris Keller, who leads the fellowship program, about what the experience entails, how students are selected, and the value it brings across disciplines. Chris will also share insights into how the fellowship builds skills that are transferable to consulting, supply chain, engineering, and beyond.

Whether you’re an MBA, engineering, or supply chain student, this program provides a rare opportunity to work in a consulting-style environment on real-world projects with measurable outcomes. Attendees will gain an inside look at how the fellowship operates and learn how to position themselves for selection.
