Prompt: As the world confronts the threat of climate catastrophe, what motivates you to combat climate change? In other words, what are you fighting to preserve, and how do you envision a future where both people and the planet can thrive?
Guidelines:
500-1000 word count
Only .pdf submissions will be accepted.
Font size 12, Times New Roman, double-spaced.
The top 3 submissions determined by the Editorial Board will be published in the Observer’s 11/1 issue at the end of Climate Action Month. By submitting, you are agreeing to the potential publication of your essay.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries.
1st place: $100 Visa gift card
2nd place: $75 Visa gift card
3rd place: $50 Visa gift card
