Details

This is a short introduction to climate change, from the basic science behind global warming, through the implications for the future, to the political obstacles, both global and local, to effectively addressing these challenges. Professor Cyrus Taylor is the former Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and current Albert A. Michelson Professor of Physics. Cyrus earned his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Truman Scholar, a John Simon Guggenheim Fellow, and a Fellow of the American Physical Society. He received CWRU's 2021 Carl F. Wittke Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.
