In this grisly (or is it gristly?) musical set in Victorian London, Sweeney Todd is a barber bent on revenge. Years ago, jealous Judge Turpin had him framed, then robbed him of his wife and infant daughter; now Todd is back, right above Mrs. Lovett's stagnant pie shop, and while he schemes against the judge, the two discover a joint venture with an unusual source of meat.
