This lecture will feature guest speakers Dr. Laura Northrop, Associate Professor of Literacy Education and Education Policy in the Department of Teacher Education (Levin College of Public Affairs and Education), and Heather White, Instructional Designer at the Korda Institute for Teaching. They will address CWRU faculty members to create a better understanding of how reading is being taught at the secondary level and how undergraduate students might be prepared (or unprepared) for the critical reading demands of college.
