Intersection of Healthcare, Innovation, and Strategy

Join us on Friday, February 7 as part of the Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Speaker Series for a roundtable discussion with David Sylvan (EMBA '95), Chief Strategy, Innovation and Marketing Officer at University Hospitals, and President at UH Ventures.

David is a servant-leader, passionate about solving complex problems, assembling and leading multi-disciplinary teams, and engaging with key decision makers in competitive settings. He has held several leadership roles in his career that have led him to his current role which helps steer the strategic design and operational implementation of a portfolio of revenue producing assets and innovation strategies in the healthcare arena. This includes the sourcing of technologies and solutions from both inside as well as outside of the organization in order to solve for well-defined unmet needs; the design and activation of proof-of-concept and pilot arrangements; the establishment of strategic partnerships, and the deployment of investment capital to underwrite these mission-critical activities for our system.
