It is an entire field of research that helps inform and validate business decisions from the very early stages of ideation, all the way though to strategic large scale business operations. Understanding the different types of primary research, how to use them, and then how to interpret and integrate your findings into a practical strategy is a key skill budding entreprenuers must develop.
