NIL Workshop with the Cleveland Guardians
Details
Case Western Reserve University’s Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship, in partnership with CWRU Athletics, is inviting CWRU student athletes to pitch the Cleveland Guardians their most creative ideas to drive college student attendance for Guardians games at Progressive Field. College students are part of the “connections cravers” segment of fans that the Guardians are looking to more deeply understand as they approach the 2025 season.
CWRU student athletes will prepare a one-minute pitch to the Cleveland Guardians with their most creative ideas and their analysis/understanding to drive engagement and attendance from the creative cravers segment. Cleveland Guardians management will provide feedback on the pitches at an in-person session in their corporate offices on Friday, January 17 at 10 am.
The goal of the workshop is to give our CWRU student athletes experience developing pitches with an eye towards monetizing your NIL rights. The workshop will also include Q&A and networking with the Guardians business team.
Please register for the workshop here on CampusGroups. Once you register for the workshop, we will share a non-disclosure agreement with you that the Guardians have asked our CWRU participants to sign in order to share additional information with you based on their research about the connections cravers segment.
