Ann graduated in 1997 with a BS in Computer Science from the Case School of Engineering. Post-Graduation, she worked her way up through IBM - starting as an IT Specialist for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. account and working through multiple accounts, Management and Director positions before leaving in 2017 for Senior VP Positions at PeopleAdmin and then Under Armor. Ann found her way back to IBM in 2023 as the Vice President of Transformation, and recently left her role as CIO and VP Business Platform Transformation. In the background of these positions, Ann also became a Founding Limited Partner for Operator Collective in 2019, a company that brings together - as limited partners - tech’s most sought-after operators, investors, and founders from diverse backgrounds to invest in and accelerate the next generation of b2b tech.
Funai will join us in person for this Speaking Event - the first 30 minutes of the session are moderated by a student and the remainder of the time is open to the group for questions. Topics will encompass building a career in tech, transformation and taking risks in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
This event will take place at Wyant Athletic and Wellness Center, with a virtual option available via Zoom for remote attendees. Once you RSVP you will receive the meeting link via email.
The Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship hosts discussions from highly-accomplished industry professionals to speak with current students and alumni who are interested in topics within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
