The purpose of this organization is to advance the goals of Msedecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to provide lifesaving medical care to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, and natural disasters. This aim will be achieved through community engagement, fundraising for MSF campaigns, and encouraging students to work with non-governmental organizations post- graduation.
Students are able to develop connections and gain involvement with humanitarian medicine, as well as connecting with mentors at CWRU Medical School. Members have access to opportunities for community engagement, discourse, and education and are able to tangibly impact Doctors Without Borders and humanitarian healthcare.
