NWSA Summit Breakout Session 1: Creating a Feminist Praxis Toolkit: How to Incorporate Theory in Your Center's Practice

Presenters: Rita M. Jones, Lehigh University and Leslie Pearson, Lehigh University

In this workshop, Leslie and Rita will guide participants through conversations and activities
designed to highlight ways to incorporate a theoretical framework into everyday practices. We'll
share our feminist praxis experiencs and create space for others to offer their own, giving
colleagues space to develop solidarity (Chandra Talpade Mohanty). Participants will build
theoretical frames, create and try out action steps, and reflect on their workshop experience to
build a feminist toolkit (Sara Ahmed) to take back to their campuses.
