About Us
Under the parent organization Global Brigades, Global Business Brigades aims to provide economic aid to communities in developing countries, such as Greece, Panama, and Ghana. GBB will organize fundraising events to cover travel costs and provide aid by empowering community-owned banks, teaching financial literacy, consulting small businesses, and providing capital for loans. GBB not only strives to alleviate a community's economic stress, but also provides students with life skills–leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication–and tools–financial literacy, understanding loans, and managing a business–that are applicable in their everyday lives. This organization benefits both the developing communities and volunteers.
