Lydia Kisley
CWRU Physics
Dr Lydia Kisley is a Warren E. Rupp Assistant Professor at Case Western University. She joined the chemistry department of Case in 2019 and is affiliated with the physics department at present. She earned her undergraduate degree at Wittenberg and her PhD at Rice University. She has also spent time working at University of Urbana-Champaign as a postdoctoral fellow. Her work is highly interdisciplinary, dealing with not only physics and chemistry but also involving aspects of biology, chemical engineering, and materials science mixed in together. She was recognized as one of the “brightest young…innovators and game changers” by Forbes on the 30 Under 30 list in 2017 for her research developing microscopies that better inform and inspire the design of soft materials. She has an impressive array of awards like the ‘NSF CAREER Award’ and the ‘NIH Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award’ to name a few.
Lauren Calandruccio
CWRU Psychological Sciences and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
Dr. Calandruccio joined the Department of Psychological Sciences in the Fall of 2015. Her research interests include auditory perception for listeners with normal hearing and listeners with hearing loss, including listeners who speak English as a second language. Dr. Calandruccio is clinically trained as an Audiologist. Her research program combines her clinical and scientific training.
