Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW) was created in 1993 by the National Association of Graduate and Professional Students.  It is a way to support and appreciate graduate and professional students and to  emphasize the contributions, impact, and value of they have on college campuses throughout the United States.

The Office of Graduate Student Life (OGSL) works to create a week of lively events, programs and acknowledge the 6000+ graduate students in the community.  OGSL encourages the campus to recognize the graduate students within their department, school, or college during the week of April 6 - April 11, 2020. These efforts could include a poster in the office saying thank you, a note of appreciation, acknowledgment at a departmental meeting, an informal lunch or coffee hour, or giving the student the opportunity to attend one of the campus events scheduled during the week.

If you have questions, please contact Jenn Brown (jmb113@case.edu), Director, Office of Graduate Student Life and/or Julie Gregg, Graduate Assistant (jng48@case.edu), in the Office of Graduate Student Life at 216.368.4802.
