Hudson Relays
the GSC invites you to join the 115th Annual Hudson Relays, set to take place on April 26, 10am-1pm at the Case Quad (in front of Adelbert Hall)! The Hudson Relays stands as a testament to CWRU's rich history, dating back to 1910, when it marked the relocation of our campus to the vibrant University Circle area. Today, it remains a cherished event eagerly anticipated by students and alumni alike. It’s an incredible opportunity to showcase our class spirit and contribute to this long-standing tradition.
To represent the move, the race among classes is 26 miles long, the distance from Hudson, OH, (where the former campus was located) to University Circle. Each runner runs 0.5-mile legs, passing the baton to the next runner.
The grad students team is still recruiting runners and volunteers for the race. As a runner or volunteer, you’ll receive a Hudson Relays T-shirt, water bottle, small breakfast, and lunch! Imagine the pride of seeing “CWRU Grads” engraved on the rock outside Adelbert Hall this year!
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to represent our class and make lasting memories. Please fill out this form to sign up as a runner or volunteer.
Check out this page for more history on the Hudson Relays!

Unsung Heroes of CWRU Poster Series
From April 21-26, CWRU will be celebrating Legacy Week. This is a week-long celebration of the unique history of Case Western Reserve University. It allows each university department, school, and student organization to celebrate their own unique history within the CWRU historical timeline. One initiative the University Spirit Committee is implementing is a poster series that recognizes the great work CWRU community members are doing. Throughout the week, the Spirit Committee will be setting up posters in Tinkham Veale University Center that display contributions past and present faculty, staff, and students have made to CWRU and the surrounding community. We want to recognize CWRU's unsung heroes; those who have made an impact that others might not know about. Do you know any colleagues or students who have made an impact, whether here at CWRU or to their community? Submit this form by Monday, April 14th with a description of their impact to potentially have them recognized in our poster series! Submit Poster Series Nomination Here:

KSL also features a special exhibit to accompany the event, showcasing 18th and 19th-century books and manuscripts from the library’s extensive rare book collection.
