About Us
This club aims to promote an inclusive community and provide support with a focus on accessibility and advocacy for people at CWRU who have different hearing levels. Hear 4 U strives to bring together everyone interested in deafness, hearing loss and related disorders, such as tinnitus and auditory processing disorder. The club also will explore how these conditions affect individuals with these conditions and their loved ones. Families, friends, classmates, and instructors can be impacted by an individualÔÇÖs hearing ability too, especially because of potential miscommunication and/or communication differences. The student organization aims to connect those who are d/Deaf/Hard of Hearing and/or have other communication related disorders/conditions so they may share their experiences and collaborate with others to form ideas of how Hear 4 U can make a positive impact on accessibility.
