About Us

The Holden Surgical Society is a multi-disciplinary group dedicated to developing an interest in surgery among medical students across all subspecialties. We seek to provide early exposure to a variety of surgical fields and help students build connections in the surgical community. We regularly hold lectures, workshops, panels, and other events in order to expose students to different elements of a career in surgery. In addition, we connect students with mentors at different time points in their careers through structured mentorship and shadowing opportunities.
