The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated through much of Asia. The holiday is celebrated with Mooncakes and family gatherings surrounding not only a successful harvest of rice and wheat, but also an appreciation for the moon in the sky. The full moon is a symbol of peace, prosperity and family reunion, and the Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally when the moon is the brightest and fullest.

Case Western Reserve University hopes to inspire that same holiday feeling here on campus for all students, staff, and faculty.

This event is sponsored by the Center for International Affairs, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Office of the Provost and First-Year Experience and Family Programs.

Thank you to Undergraduate Student Government, Undergraduate Diversity Collaborative for the additional assistance of time.
