Cleveland Metroparks

Enjoy an opportunity to get outside and hike through the Cleveland Metroparks with the Center for International Affairs and CCEL!

We'll visit the Rocky River Nature Center and tour the maple sugar operation at Maple Grove, and hike through the scenic trails of the Cleveland Metroparks on Fort Hill Loop (.75 miles). The Fort Hill Loop includes 155 steps that bring you to stunning views of the Rocky River. It may be muddy on the trail, so dress appropriately!

This is a Cleveland Bucket List event and is only open to CWRU students.

We will leave campus at 10 am and take a bus to the Rocky River Nature Preserve which is about a 30-minute drive. The maple sugar tour will begin at 11 am and the hike will follow.

Tickets are $5 and include water, snacks and the bus ride.

This event is a collaboration with CCEL.
