Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Using Open Source LLM Frameworks

This digital scholarship workshop offers graduate students an introduction to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) using large language models. Participants will learn how RAG systems combine external knowledge sources with LLMs to generate more accurate, context-aware responses. The session will cover core concepts, use cases in academic research, and tools for building RAG pipelines with open-source frameworks.
