Mission
The mission of Lawve Letters is dedicated to using the power of handwritten words to bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to individuals facing hardship. As law students, we recognize that words hold the power not only to advocate but also to heal. Through our regular letter-writing gatherings, we aim to provide support to those undergoing difficult times, such as individuals battling illness, coping with loss, or experiencing personal struggles.
By fostering a community of empathy and service within our law school, we seek to remind recipients that they are not alone and that kindness, even in the smallest form, can make a profound impact. Through partnerships with organizations like the Dear Jack Foundation and other outreach programs, we strive to extend our reach and ensure our words find those who need them most.

Membership Benefits
Lawve Letters offers law students a meaningful way to uplift others through handwritten letters of encouragement to individuals experiencing illness, loss, or hardship. We provide a supportive space for members to engage in acts of kindness, promote empathy, and build community through service.
We host quarterly letter-writing gatherings where members connect, collaborate on outreach initiatives, and partner with organizations like the Dear Jack Foundation. We may also hold additional informal events or service projects throughout the year. Communications are sent via email and GroupMe to keep members informed about upcoming meetings, recipient opportunities, and ways to get involved.
