About Us
MCOH, or Managing the Cost of Healthcare, addresses the exorbitant medical bills that exist in US Healthcare today and the facilitation of these costs by health insurance companies. We aim to discover how this institution functions in America and other developed countries by conducting book, article, and case study analysis. While learning how the system works, a panel for discussion is opened where our members can brainstorm solutions for healthcare economic issues as well as inequalities concerning access to quality healthcare. We also collaborate with the CWRU Student Medical Plan and serve as an intermediary between them and all undergraduates. Lastly, we expand our discussions beyond Case to the community with public forums to share what we know and uncover local health policy concerns.
