Then you have come to the right place! Please follow the below steps if your organization is not affiliated with RHA.
An organization applying for a Co-Sponsorship from RHA must submit an application for a co-sponsorship using the form posted at rha.case.edu
Each week, the Vice President of Audit and Finance will check the form submissions.
Submissions will be denied if:
An organization has applied for more than one co-sponsorship per semester.
The event is in less than three weeks.
There are important details/supplementary details not included in the application. This includes, but is not limited to: event date and time, planned attendance, an itemized budget, monetary amount requested, and speedtype account number.
Note: All denied submissions must have the support of both the RHA Executive President and Advisor. The organization must be immediately notified of the denial.
Submissions will be “put on hold” if:
The application form is complete and no reasons for denial are found.
Note: The organization must be immediately notified of the application status.
A .pdf copy of the co-sponsorship application will be sent to all General Body members along with an anonymous Google Form to be used for voting purposes.
General Body members will have 72 hours to vote on the Co-Sponsorship. The Co-Sponsorship can be passed, denied, or sent to a discussion at a General Body meeting. At least 70% of General Body members must vote to pass or deny the Co-Sponsorship. Otherwise, the application is sent to a discussion at a General Body meeting.
If the Co-Sponsorship passes, the organization will be immediately notified of the result and sent a Post-Event Evaluation to complete. This form must be submitted in order for funds to be distributed.
If the Co-Sponsorships is denied, the organization will be immediately notified.
If the Co-Sponsorship is sent to a discussion at a General Body Meeting, the organization will be sent the date of the General Body meeting at which the Co-Sponsorship will be discussed and will be encouraged to send a representative. Note: The organization must be sent this information at least one week before the General Body meeting.
Each organization will have 3 minutes to present and 3 minutes to hold a Q+A on the co-sponsorship. The organization representatives will then be asked to leave the room and the General Body will discuss and vote on the Co-Sponsorship. If 70% of the General Body votes in favor of the co-sponsorship, it shall pass.
If the Co-Sponsorship passes, the organization will be immediately notified and sent an event follow-up to complete.
If the Co-Sponsorship does not pass, the organization will be immediately notified of the result.
After the co-sponsored event, the organization must complete a Post-Event Evaluation, posted at RHA.case.edu in order to receive the funding.
Upon completion, The RHA Advisor will immediately be sent a copy of the final vote count and the organization’s speedtype account number in order to process the money transfer.
This follow-up submission may be presented to the General Body at the discretion of the Executive President in full to gauge the event's impact and benefit to residents.
