Details
Choose a design and embroider it onto a canvas bag, from start to finish. In this workshop, you will be led by an awesome Student Technician through basic Tajima DG15 Software file design, Tajima machine setup, and Tajima SAI settings. This training class is a resource for anyone looking to use the Tajima for the first time.
You will learn:
- The capabilities and limitations of our Tajima SAI.
- A beginner's overview of machine embroidery, with a focus on the Tajima SAI.
- How to navigate the Tajima DG15 Software and Tajima SAI interface.
- What to look for when using the Tajima, as well as tips and tricks for troubleshooting common issues.
Important Notes:
- All participants will make an instructor-led project. If your goal is to complete a personal print or project, this training teaches skills that support that goal, but will not provide time or support for personal projects.
- Come in any time during our open hours to work on personal projects. Student Technicians are available during those times to help. Schedule a consultation for projects that need additional support.
- This training is not mandatory for using the Tajima. If you would just like to jump right in to start embroidering, you may access our online tutorials and come into think[box] any time.
Training is open and free for participants ages 8+. Participants 8-13 must complete training with an accompanying adult.
This class may be cancelled if it does not reach its minimum required amount.
