The Office of Faculty Development will host a promotion process dialogue on April 19th for non-tenure track faculty. In this informal session, recently promoted faculty panelists will share their experiences navigating non-tenure track promotion at Case Western Reserve University and engage in dialogue with those interested in pursuing promotion.

The typical criteria for promotion focus on one or more areas of scholarship, teaching and service. All universities subscribe to this but how these terms are interpreted can vary from institution to institution, school to school, and even department to department. Learning how they are applied and measured at CWRU is an important aspect of becoming familiar with the culture of the institution.

This session will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 11:30am to 12:30pm in the Herrick Room at Allen Memorial Medical Library (1st floor). Immediate questions and concerns can be directed to the Faculty Development team through email: facdev@case.edu.
