This event is open to staff, faculty and students. At the end you will receive a token showing that you finished the training.This workshop is 1.5 hours and covers everything you need to know about how to use pronouns! Specifically, this workshop will answer
What are pronouns?
What are gender neutral and neopronouns?
How do I use gender neutral and neopronouns?
Why are pronouns important?
You will also have the opportunity to practice using gender neutral and neopronouns through partnered activities!

Join our department for Trans Allyship Training, this will be open to all faculty, staff and students. You will receive a token upon completion to signify that you went through the training.This workshop is 2 hours and goes in depth on the topics of transgender identity and allyship. Specifically, this presentation will cover: the differences between sex, gender, and sexuality. An in-depth discussion of what it means to be transgender and what transition can look like including common misconceptions about trans adults and trans children ,an overview of the issues faced by transgender people and practical ways to be a trans-inclusive ally!
