A spirited student tradition combined with an alumni reunion and parents & family weekend, Homecoming is designed for anyone and everyone affiliated with the university.
Homecoming offers a wide range of programming, from academic lectures to social gatherings. Whether you are alumni, parents/families, students, friends, faculty or staff, there is something for everyone. Visit our growing campus in thriving University Circle to revive relationships with community members and friends and relive what made you fall in love with Case Western Reserve University.
This year, CWRU's Homecoming theme is Once in a Blue Moon! This theme was submitted to the Homecoming Committee by an undergraduate student. This theme captures the nature of having a Homecoming mid-November: truly once in a blue moon!

Homecoming Tailgate 2024
The Homecoming Tailgate will be from 11:00AM-1:00PM on November 16th. We will have great FREE food for students and Alumni (Barrio, Off the Griddle, Squash the Beef) with options for food accommodations and a beer garden (21+, cash bar)!! If you're in the need for a warm beverage, Odd Dog Coffee will also be in attendance.
The Class Officer Collective will once again be giving away FREE Homecoming sweatshirts to undergraduate students. Food and sweatshirts are both first-come, first-serve so make sure to get there early!
There will also be CWRU and local CLE performances, along with several clubs tabling with activities and fun things for you all! And don't forget to show your support for the CWRU football team right after the tailgate at the Homecoming Game!
The tailgate will take place on East 115th from STJ to Starbucks, and the game will be on DiSanto Field. We cannot wait to see all of you (students and alumni) then!

Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m. on DiSanto Field
See the Homecoming Court and find out who will be crowned CWRU Royalty at halftime!

Blue Bash 2024
Join the campus community as we kick off Homecoming Weekend and celebrate the innovation and talents of our students, staff, faculty and alumni with food and fun. Festive blue attire is encouraged.
Blue Bash will be in the Thwing Student Center from 7-9pm Thursday, November 14th.
