Take your source-based research to the next level! In monthly workshops, experts from the Writing Resource Center and Kelvin Smith Libraries will guide you through the research writing process, from finding the best sources for your needs to using others’ expertise to advance your own original projects. Use this series to work on a current assignment in a small group setting, test out new strategies, and receive one-on-one instruction. This series is appropriate for undergraduate students in all disciplines and will include a focus on research writing in STEM. Food provided! Fifteen spots available - you must be able to attend all 3 sessions on 2/19, 3/19, and 4/9.

Session 3: Bringing it All Together: Engaging Experts in Your Research Project
In this workshop, you'll discover some of the concrete strategies that scientists and scholars use to engage with other experts’ findings in their research articles. Gain confidence with advanced research writing skills (including juggling multiple sources at once!) while immediately strengthening the sophistication and credibility of your research writing project.
