ACES and IFC/PHC are proud to host national best-seller and renowned speaker Lawrence Ross to speak on college campus climate and racism on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 6 PM EST, via Zoom. Available to all CWRU students and faculty. Based on his most recent book "Blackballed: The Black and White Politics of Race on America's Campuses," Ross speaks on racial microaggressions and the hostile environments impacting students of color. Lawrence Ross, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, gives an insight to racism and hazing in Greek life in his book "The Divine Nine: The History of African American Fraternities and Sororities." Ross' lecture, Blackballed, entertains and educates, aiming not to develop non-racists, but ANTI-racists. Students are ready to talk about campus racism. Are you?
