Details
Service Information: Volunteers will focus on literacy intervention, wellness, homework help, and hands-on activities. While helpful, volunteers do not need prior tutoring experience.
Time Commitment: This site requires a weekly commitment for one semester and takes place on Thursdays from 1:45-4:15 pm, which includes transportation time. Transportation is provided and the activity is led by a CCEL Student Leader. Registered students will serve on the following Thursdays: 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24
Pre-Service Requirement: a background check is required to volunteer at this site. Once you register, you will receive more information on how to complete the background check at no cost to you. Results must be received before you can start service. You will also be required to complete an online Safe Play Certification, which may take up to one hour.
