Millions of young people read Anne Frank’s diary each year. The book and its author have become international icons to diverse groups for differing reasons. We will dive into The Many Lives of Anne Frank which is part of the Yale University Press Jewish Lives Series. We will consider Anne Frank’s life, the Holocaust in the Netherlands, the diary’s journey to becoming an internationally famous book, and the many afterlives that Anne’s legacy has had.
