About

The Weatherhead Fund is the premier undergraduate finance organization at Case Western Reserve University. By managing a portion of the University's endowment, the organization strives to provide students with a strong understanding of how capital markets function in the real world. Since its founding in 2011, the Fund has grown its initial $100,000 endowment to nearly $900,000. The executive board also organizes a variety of supplemental activities, including networking events with Spartan alumni, a speaker series of accomplished finance professionals, trips to various professional conferences, and recruiter visitations.

The club's sixty members are organized into five sector verticals: Consumer Goods, Financial Institutions & Real Estate, Industrial Goods & Energy Solutions, Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), and Healthcare. By working alongside experienced upperclassmen, members of each vertical quickly become experts in their assigned sector. They also become adept investors through routine financial modeling, credit analysis, and equity research.
