Come explore our electronics tools with a Learn-to-solder kit.

Make a robotic Jitterbug with our soldering irons. In this workshop, you will be led through an introduction to the electronics tools we have available. It is great for those wanting to explore soldering in a workshop-style format led by an awesome Student Technician Instructor. 

You will learn: 

• An overview of electronic components and tools
• How to assemble a functional circuit
• Applications for soldering and other electronics equipment

Important Notes:

• All participants will make an instructor-lead project. If your goal is to complete a personal print or project, this training teaches skills that support that goal, but will not provide time or support for personal projects.

• Come in any time during our open hours to work on personal projects. Student Technicians are available during those times to help.  Schedule a consultation for projects that need additional support. 

• This training is not mandatory for soldering at think[box]. You can jump right in to soldering by following our online tutorials.

Training is open and free for participants ages 8+. Participants 8-13 must complete training with an accompanying adult. 

This class may be cancelled if it does not reach its minimum required amount.
