In this workshop, you will be led by an awesome Student Technician through basic scanner setup, operating the handheld scanner, and exporting your file as a 3D object. This training class is a resource for anyone looking to use a 3D scanner for the first time.
You will learn:
- The capabilities and limitations of our Artec Leo Scanner.
- How to operate the scanner.
- How to process your scans through Artec Studio software.
- Best practices and common troubleshooting issues.
Important Notes:
- All participants will make an instructor-led project. If your goal is to complete a personal print or project, this training teaches skills that support that goal, but will not provide time or support for personal projects. Users can come in any time during our open hours to work on personal projects. Student Technicians are available during those times to help. Schedule a consultation for projects that need additional support.
- This training is not mandatory for using the machine. You can jump right in by following our online tutorials.
- Training is open and free for participants ages 8+. Participants 8-13 must complete training with an accompanying adult.
- This class may be canceled if it does not reach its minimum required amount.
