Open Print Exchange Exhibition

Join us on October 3rd for the grand opening of the Open Print Exchange at Sears think[box], a showcase of 297 miniature prints made by artists around the world as part of an international art exchange. From colorful linocut relief prints to intricate photo etchings, each piece was made using a 3D-printed printing press. 

This exhibition is organized in partnership with the Open Press Project, a global initiative championing the democratization of art through open-source, 3D-printed presses. CWRU and Sears think[box] are honored to launch its first US tour.
In addition to the exhibition, we will also be hosting a hands-on workshop where you’ll create original prints using LEGO tiles and the 3D-printed printing press designed by the Open Press Project. Learn how to use a press, explore mosaic designs, and take home prints ranging from 2.5" squares to postcard size. Guests will be invited to leave one of their original prints to display in a Community Gallery. 

We encourage EVERYONE to participate in this event. However, if you are not a CWRU Student, Staff or Faculty, please fill out a Member Registration Form before the event. If you are bringing a minor ( under 18 years old) please have a parent fill out a Minor Registration Form before attending the event.

Directions and Parking 
Please park in the Veale Parking Garage (Lot 53) located at 2158 Adelbert Road near the wind turbine. Parking rate for the Veale Parking Garage are avaialble on the Parkopedia web page.

After parking, walk to the entrance of the Veale Athletic Center. Go into Veale and speak with the individual at the front desk for assistance in reaching think[box].
