Unbox think[box]: Parametric CAD in Onshape

Join us at think[box] and learn how to use parametric CAD software to create 3D models!

This two-hour workshop teaches the use of Onshape, a parametric 3D modeling software. You will learn how to use Onshape's tools to create a 3D model of hexagonal chain mail, which you can 3D print and take home with you after the workshop.

This workshop is open to anyone ages 13+. Intermediate computer skills, such as being able to independently learn new computer software, are required. This is a group workshop, and one-on-one instruction will be mostly unavailable.

Some prior 3D modeling experience (e.g. Tinkercad) is recommended but not required.

Prior to the workshop date, please sign up for a free think[box] membership! 

Fill out our Registration Form. When you submit the form you will receive a confirmation number by text and/or email. We recommend you do this before you come to think[box]. Otherwise, we will have you fill it out at our welcome desk.
