Hi everyone!! I'm here hanging out in the GLO with our favorite VP of Finance, Josh Jaffe! Stop by the office and say hi! This week there are so many fun events happening on campus! We hope to see you all soon!

Tri Sigma Character Essay Contest Now Open

Each year, Tri Sigma hosts a character essay contest which challenges sorority women to consider how character relates to their daily life in 600 words or less. This year's topic asks members to share what matters to them and how it is connected to character.

The essay contest is open to all collegians affiliated with a national sorority (NPC, NPHC, NMGC, NAPA, etc.). Winning entries will be awarded $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd, and $100 for 3rd. The winners will also be announced on Tri Sigma's social media channels during CHARACTER COUNTS! Week in October.

 

Submit an essay here by Monday, Sept. 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in over a decade. Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. Make an appointment online or walk-in.

FREE Fresh Produce Available at Upcoming Mobile Food Pantry

Come get FREE fresh produce on September 17th at 1:30pm at Kelvin Smith Library (KSL) Oval (11055 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106). In addition to fresh produce, we will also have information for on and off-campus food pantries, SNAP, Swipe Out Hunger, and other basic needs resources. We hope to see you there!

This event, run by #MeToo, IFC/PHC, and the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, will allow its attendees to become certified as Ambassadors of the CRCC. The event will focus on the prevalence of sexual violence, highlighting the myths and facts about rape and sexual violence and discussing the impact of rape culture in our society, along with effective bystander intervention techniques, supporting survivors of rape and sexual abuse and how to advocate for social change. This event will be limited to 50 attendees for now, so please register if you plan on attending! If the RSVP is full, please RSVP for the waiting list and we will try to make sure you can attend.
