Born from the request of a student, Pitch Playground was created to help students practice pitching without the pressure of competition. Pitching isn't just for presenting a business plan. In fact, we use it every day! We pitch to our parents for when we want a "sweet little treat". We pitch ourselves to potential employers. We even pitch our ideas and projects in our classes for good grades! Learning to pitch means being able to effectively communicate in order to compete for the rarest of resources - attention and engagement.
Join us on Monday, March 3 for Pitch Playground. Teams and individuals who register for this event will have the opportunity to pitch their idea and get real time feedback from experts and mentors in our network. Cash prizes will be available to first and second place winners!
We highly encourage spectators! Learning from other people's pitches is just as valueable as pitching itself.
Please note that pitches will be limited to 2 minutes and our mentors will have 5 minutes to ask questions and give feedback.
